Man shot, killed at southwest Houston gas station
Houston police respond to reports of a fatal shooting outside of a gas station in southwest Houston on June 20, 2022.A man was shot and killed Monday night outside of a southwest Houston gas station, according to police.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 8:30 p.m. at the Shell gas station on the 6200 block of West Airport Boulevard near Bob White Drive and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. Witnesses told investigators a black SUV pulled into the gas station and opened fire on the man as he was walking back to his car, HPD said. When the witnesses tried to render aid to the man, the gunman shot at them from the street. There currently is no motive known as police attempt to identify the license plate of the vehicle from video surveillance, according to investigators.
