The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Buford Troman White. He was 36 and his family called him Pete.Police Chief Wendell Major said White was shot multiple times.He was pronounced dead on the scene at 7:33 p.m.
Major said a possible suspect is described as a tall male wearing all white who left the scene as a passenger in a dark-colored sedan.The shooting death is Tarrant’s first homicide of 2025. In all of Jefferson County, there have been 10 homicides so far this year.
