A suspect and a motive are being sought by police in the shooting of a man in East Oakland Monday morning.
OAKLAND — A man was shot Monday morning in East Oakalnd after getting into a confrontation with another man, authorities said.
The man was in stable condition at a hospital where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to his leg, according to authorities. The shooting happened about 7:45 a.m. outside near the intersection of 90th Avenue and International Boulevard. Initial police reports were that two men got into a physical confrontation that ended with one of them pulling a gun and shooting the other.It was not immediately known if the two men knew each other or what the initial dispute was about. No detailed suspect information has been released by police.
