TACOMA, Wash. — An 18-year-old man was charged Tuesday in connection to theThe victim was shot at South Ridgewood Avenue and South 15th Street on Saturday evening.
Police recovered the victim's cell phone at the scene and discovered Tyrrell and the victim got into an argument over text on Thursday. He then showed up at her home and shot into her next-door neighbor's apartment and left the scene. According to court documents, the girl was on the phone with a family member at the time of the shooting, who said she was expecting Tyrrell. She waited outside for him to give her her things, and the person on the phone said she then heard"muffled noises" and screaming.
