A 28-year-old man was seriously injured when his SUV jumped a curb and crashed into a car dealership in Provo , police said.
The single-vehicle crash happened Thursday around 4:35 a.m. near 1695 N. State St., which is the listed address for used car dealership West Auto Sales. According to a statement from the Provo Police Department, the black SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit the , launching the vehicle into West Auto Sales property, where it hit "numerous" parked vehicles before landing on its roof, police stated.He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The nature of those injuries were not disclosed.
No road closures or delays were reported due to the crash happening ending at the dealership and off State Street. Police didn't say whether they were investigating any sort of impairment or distraction as factors in the crash.
