of John and Diane Porter in March 2017. Tarrant County prosecutors said he entered the Fort Worth home through the couple’s garage and shot Diane Porter in the stomach before struggling with her husband — beating him with the gun and a metal table stand before shooting him in the head. Floyd then tied up an injured Diane Porter, demanding the PIN code for the couple’s debit card. He fled in the couple’s car, warning Diane Porter he would be back to kill her if the card didn’t work, prosecutors said.

Diane Porter survived her injuries and managed to call 911. She later identified Floyd to police as the intruder.
