This isn't good
Four e-scooters have been found dumped into river near Beeston. Oliver Cookman, 27, of Nottinghamshire, discovered the e-scooters in Tottle Brook near the University of Nottingham campus yesterday afternoon .
He described it as a shock that someone would put the e-scooters there. Oliver said: "I don't really use e-scooters at all, I walk or I run or whatever, but that little brook is a nice area that I run along quite a lot. "It goes along the canal and it's a nice area so it was a bit disappointing to see that people had just dumped them there as you shouldn't really be littering in rivers anyway, so it was quite shocking. I guess it's not too surprising in a big city like this that there are idiots who do stuff like this."He added: "I've not used the scooters personally, but friends of mine and people I know use them.
Oliver added that the damage caused would probably cost a lot to repair, as the river "could not have been good for the batteries or any of the electrics".
