A former employee of a Shamokin Dam motel is accused of stealing the cards in 2018 from a man who died from natural causes.
SHAMOKIN DAM – A former employee of a motel in Snyder County has been returned from Puerto Rico to face charges that accuse him of using credit cards stolen from a body.
He is accused of stealing the credit cards before police arrived from a male who died of natural causes in December 2018. Surveillance videos from several stores showed Hernandez-Thurbus purchasing $492 in cigarettes and snacks, they said.
