Man recovering in Mpumalanga hospital after gang abducted him and chopped off his hands
A 30-year-old man in Mpumalanga was hospitalised after he was abducted by a gang of men who chopped off both his hands. The unknown suspects fled the scene with the man's body parts.A 30-year-old man is in hospital after a gang of men abducted him at gunpoint and chopped off both his hands in Vosman, near Emalahleni, Mpumalanga.
According to Mpumalanga police spokesperson, Colonel Donald Mdhluli, the suspects pointed a gun at the man, grabbed him, and forced him into the bakkie, where they tied up his hands and legs. He is currently recovering in hospital. Police have opened a case of attempted murder and are in pursuit of the suspects."Though the victim was not killed, the acts committed by the suspects are heartless and should be strongly condemned in the strongest possible way," said Manamela.
