The collision was on Foothill Boulevard near Astoria Street.
A man and a woman he was pushing in a wheelchair on Foothill Boulevard in Sylmar were both struck and killed by a vehicle on Thursday night, Sept. 21.The man was identified as Paul Sanchez, 38, by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. His city of residence was not known.The woman was taken to a hospital, where she died. Her name was withheld, pending notification of relatives.
Los Angeles police Officer J. Chavez said the 35-year-old driver remained at the scene. An investigation was underway.
