The 37-year-old passed away in hospital following the incident
Lee Elliott died on the town's Angus Road on Sunday, July 30, following a disturbance involving three men at around 9.50pm.
The 37-year-old, who lived locally, was transported to hospital where he died a short time later. Police have now opened a murder investigation.
