A man has lost part of his vision after he was allegedly bashed by an electric skateboard rider in the middle of the day. 9News

The skateboard rider, believed to be aged in his late teens to early 20s, then approached the man's car on The Esplanade, allegedly banging on the car and verbally abusing the man.He was walking back to his car when he was allegedly attacked from behind by the rider.Police are searching for this skateboard rider after an assault on March 30.

The man was left with significant injuries, including a fractured eye socket causing him to lose part of his vision. Police are searching for the rider, who has a medium build and was wearing a white t-shirt, grey shorts and Nike shoes.Continue reading
