Police said the shooting happened at about 10:45 p.m. in the 8700 block of Gustine Lane near Braeswood Boulevard.HPD officers said they rendered aid by applying a tourniquet until paramedics arrived. The man was said to be walking in front of the Wesley Gardens Apartment Complex when an unidentified vehicle drove by, opened fire, and fled, HPD said.The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition but is expected to survive, police said.
