A man wanted on two felony warrants was killed when Larimer County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to arrest him Wednesday, according to the sheriff’s office.
The man was shot, but it was not immediately clear whether he died by suicide or was killed by a deputy, sheriff’s office spokesperson Jenevieve Kramer said.
The incident began around 4:46 p.m. at a home in the 3900 block of Chinook Lane in Larimer County when deputies began to watch the home, looking for the suspect. Someone in a vehicle left the house around 8:12 p.m., but fled when the deputies attempted a traffic stop.
