A man his 20s has died on Fletcher Street in Waverley, south of Bondi Beach, after being found on the road bleeding heavily.Police are investigating the death of a man on a Waverley street.
Emergency services rushed to the scene after a call from a member of the public just after 4am on Sunday morning said the man was lying on the road, bleeding from his upper body and breathing shallowly. NSW Ambulance paramedics were unable to revive the man, who has yet to be identified. Several ambulance crews and a helicopter were deployed.In a separate incident, a man was found dead on railway tracks at Wollstonecraft at about 4.40am on Sunday morning.
Initial information provided to officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command indicate the incident appeared to have been misadventure.Trains on the North Shore line were cancelled for an hour due to the Wollstonecraft incident but started running again at around 6.30am.
