The shooting happened in the 600-700 block of Lilley between Kent and Mooberry streets, south of I-70. It is the city's 71st homicide of 2022.
A 46-year-old man was shot and killed late Friday afternoon following an argument on Lilley Avenue in the city's Driving Park neighborhood.
Sgt. David Shimberg said police were called about 4:56 p.m. The man, whom he did not identify, was taken to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where he died at 5:37 p.m.Shimberg would not say how many times the man had been shot, or what led to what Shimberg said was a fight in the street. Police were interviewing neighbors early Friday evening.
