The 10th Judicial District Critical Incident Response Team has been activated to investigate the shooting.
“Shots were fired,” the news release states, and the man was injured and taken to a local hospital where he died. He has not been identified yet.The news release states the involved deputies will not be identified right now.
The CIRT includes members of the Pueblo Police Department, the Colorado State Patrol, the Pueblo County District Attorney’s Office, the Colorado Bureau of Investigations and the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office.
