The 52-year-old died Monday in Chatham Township, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.
Michael Pacchia Jr. was driving south on Lafayette Avenue in Chatham Township when his Jeep Wranger was struck by an SUV traveling west on Shunpike Road, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said.
Pacchia Jr.’s vehicle then hit a box truck parked on the opposite side of the intersection, officials said.No charges have been filed and the prosecutor’s office declined to answer additional questions, citing the ongoing investigation.
