Washington State Patrol responds to the scene of a fatal crash on State Route 167 in AuburnAUBURN, Wash. — Washington State Patrol is investigating after a man was killed in a rollover crash in Auburn early Sunday.
At about 3:30 a.m., WSP responded to a reported brush fire at northbound State Route 167, just north of 37th Street. Once firefighters arrived at the scene, they determined the fire was actually a single-vehicle collision.He reportedly lost control of his vehicle as he was leaving the roadway, rolling several times before landing in a ditch, causing him to be ejected from the car.
The driver was the only person inside of the vehicle and appeared to not be wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to WSP.
