A man is filmed on his internal dash cam with his hands off the steering wheel, swigging Bollinger champagne, rolling a ciggie and sending texts.

Mason Cowgill, 27, then crashed his work’s truck last June into a family’s stationary car containing three children at Ingleton, North Yorks.He stole Chablis and prosecco from Tesco plus wine from a hotel. Cowgill, of Gargrave, North Yorks, who said he had alcohol and drug issues, admitted dangerous driving and the thefts.Judge Simon Hickey asked: “Do you pose a risk to the public?”Cowgill was jailed for 16 months, banned from driving for 32 months and must then take a road test.
