A woman was killed and 7 others were injured in the 2020 shooting. Tolliver pleaded guilty to amended charges prior to his sentencing.
Earlier this month, on June 2, William Tolliverof second degree manslaughter, third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm in a King County courtroom.
Tolliver was originally charged with first-degree murder, six counts of first-degree assault and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection to the January 22, 2020, shooting on Third Avenue and Pine Street.A 50-year-old woman was killed in the shooting, and seven others were injured, including a 9-year-old boy who was walking with his family after a visit to the Pacific Science Center.
The other accused shooter involved, Marquise Tolbert, was also initially charged with murder and assault in the case, but was found not guilty last year. However, he pleaded guilty to an unlawful possession of a firearm charge. Tolliver was released in March to electronic home monitoring at his grandmother's home while he awaited trial. Under the terms of his release, Tolliver was not allowed to have any guns or be in contact with any witnesses or co-defendants in the case. However, he was
