This comes as tens of thousands headed to their hometowns early this week despite appeals to stay at home as authorities battle a wave of new Covid-19 cases. According to the Kuantan Health Department, the bus was a Plusliner express bus with the licence plate VDJ 2367, and the trip was on March 16, just a day before the government’s movement control order took effect.
