A man was transported in serious condition after he was hit by a truck while illegally crossing a Salt Lake City crosswalk Thursday night.
Officers with the Salt Lake City Police Department said that they were dispatched to 700 East Wilmington Avenue at 9:30 a.m., Feb. 22, on reports of a critically injured person who was struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, police learned that the man was hit by an incoming truck when he attempted to illegally cross the crosswalk.
