Lee Jackson walked free from his sentencing hearing after already serving time on remand
A Bolton man headbutted his ex-girlfriend in the street after she refused to get back with him. When Lee Jackson was eventually taken back by his victim just months later, he put his hands around her throat during an argument.
He approached her and asked if they could reconcile but she refused. Jackson, 52, then headbutted her in the nose, causing it to bleed, before running away. Two months later, she got back with Jackson after breaking up with a new partner. At the start of April, problems arose again and Jackson started to prevent her from leaving the house. On April 7, they were both home when the woman received a text from Jackson's friend, which seemingly upset him.
