Brandon Deandre Norwood was convicted earlier this year of second-degree murder for the March 3, 2019, killing of Oscar Humberto Chunmichicoj.
A 32-year-old Long Beach man who shot another man to death during an attempted robbery in Anaheim was sentenced Monday, Oct. 10, to 40 years to life in prison.
According to prosecutors, Norwood was following Chunmichicoj in a rental car as Chunmichicoj was walking back to his Anaheim apartment after filling up two water jugs at a nearby store.
