An Austin -area man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison on charges that he sold fentanyl-laced pills that authorities said led to the non-fatal overdose of a Hays County teen in 2022. Gabriel Cecilio Osorio , 22, was sentenced Jan. 30 after he pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opiod drug similar to morphine but can be 100 times more potent, according to U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration .
