When police arrived, they found a man on the convenience store floor unresponsive. A second person was also wounded.
One person is dead and another was injured after a shooting on the west side of Houston Sunday night.
Police said they responded to a shooting call at a gas station on 8601 Richmond Ave. near Schumacher Lane and found one man unresponsive on the floor of the convenience store.The second person, a 24-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm. Police had limited details about the suspect, only describing him as wearing a white hoodie, black beanie, multi-colored pants with white drawstrings and black shoes.
According to earlier information from HPD, it may have all started with an altercation in the parking lot.
