Shortly after 11 p.m., officers responded to a report of gunshots near 4200 S. Bluebird Drive, just west of Bangerter Highway. When they arrived, they found a 36-year-old man lying in the roadway. The man had suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. His name has not been released.
Witnesses told police that the man found dead was arguing with other people before the shooting. At least two people drove away afterward, colliding with another car before driving off. Police have not identified any suspects, but investigators believe the person or people responsible knew the man killed.
