A man was found dead in car at a south Austin park overnight, according to police.The Austin Police Department responded to the South Austin Neighborhood Park,
The Austin Police Department responded to the South Austin Neighborhood Park, located at 1100 Cumberland Road, around midnight. Someone had called 911 reporting a potentially deceased person.
When officers arrived, they were flagged down and directed to a vehicle in the north end of the park. Officers found a man inside with trauma to his body. Austin-Travis County EMS arrived and pronounced him deceased at the scene.Police found a person who they believe is involved in the incident. That person has been detained.
