Kota Kinabalu: The Magistrate’s Court here fined a 54-year-old man RM1,000 or three months jail for causing hurt to a man.

The prosecution informed the court that on the said day, the victim was walking near the residency area when a man, later identified as Isah, wrapped his arm around the victim’s neck before punching him. Ruaina Faisal admitted to committing the offence using a handphone on May 11, at 3.55pm at the five-foot-way of a shop, at Inanam New Township, Inanam.The court was informed by the prosecution that Ruaina was detained by police during a raid at the said place after she was seen engaging in the online gambling.
