A man fell 1,500ft to his death during a balloon ride in Melbourne A man who plunged 1,500ft to his death from a hot air balloon was reportedly talking about politics moments before he threw himself to his death. Footage of the incident shows the victim onboard the balloon as it made its ascent with around ten other passengers on Monday afternoon.

Emergency services then rushed to the scene where they discovered the man’s body in the middle of a road, surrounded by fallen power lines. A white cloth was placed over his body, and an investigation is now underway to determine the exact cause of his death.
