Emergency services responded to reports that a firearm had been discharged at a residence in Floreat at about 4.30pm local time.Another woman, aged in her late teens, was transported to Royal Perth hospital with injuries, but police said on Saturday the woman had died.“I drove down that street and the police were more or less outside my house,” the man said. “I was think thinking, ‘wow, this is my house’. It’s a bit shocking. We know our neighbours. They are good people.
Police said the man went to the house at about 4.30pm on Friday, where the two women were already present. Police said the man “discharged a firearm”, killing the older woman and critically injuring the younger woman, before killing himself. St John WA provided emergency treatment to the critically injured younger woman before she was taken to Royal Perth hospital, where she later died.
