The man, who has not yet been named, was found seriously injured at a property on Charleston Road shortly after 11pm on Saturday.
A man has appeared in court charged with murder. Barry Murray, 43, was arrested by officers investigating the death of a 43-year-old man in Dundee at the weekend.
He was remanded in custody with the case submitted for further examination by prosecutors. No future court dates have been set but he is expected to make a second appearance in connection with the case next week. Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses and are keen to speak to anyone with CCTV from the area. Detective Inspector Richard Baird said: “Our thoughts are very much with the man’s family and friends at this very difficult time.
