An Australian man who was arrested for exporting drugs from Cape Town to Melbourne has been sentenced to 16 years in prison:

‘The Victorian Joint Organised Crime Task Force launched an investigation on January 4, 2021. AFP officers found the drugs inside the meat smokers sent from Cape Town.

On January 15, 2021, police executed search warrants at properties in St Albans and Sunshine North in Melbourne.’Jason McArthur, AFP superintendent said they are fighting transnational organised crimes and treating this as a serious issue.
