A livestream of the meeting between the Santa Clara City Council, Santa Clara Stadium Authority and other officials, shows the moment the costumed man made his dramatic entrance while swearing several times. The man outlined his concerns about ICE agents' possible presence in Santa Clara, given the recent killings by federal agents in Minneapolis in January.South Bay leaders are assuring community members who fear ICE activity during the Super Bowl that they have their backs. He argued that the city council should have taken action to prevent "hundreds of masked men" from coming to Santa Clara, and asked that no city resources be provided to the agency. In response to concerns about immigration enforcement, Santa Clara Police Chief Cory Morgan said the department would not "confirm, deny, or speculate about" the actions of federal agencies. Corey Lewandowski, an adviser at the Department of Homeland Security, said in October that ICE officials would be at the Super Bowl.
