THE body of a 30-year-old man is slumped on the ground after the motorcycle he was driving rammed into a multicab in Barangay Camputhaw, Cebu City on Tuesday morning, May 16. Police said the incident happened around 10 a.m. on Juana Osmeña St.
The driver of the van-type multicab, Derrick Trance, told reporters that he saw the motorcycle encroaching the opposite lane while running at high speed. Trance said that when he saw that the motorcycle was heading to his direction, he immediately stepped on the brakes.The impact threw Garces on the ground.Michelle Baclayon said that she and Garces had a fight before the accident.Michelle said she insisted on alighting from the motorcycle because they didn’t have helmets while they were aboard the motorcycle.When the woman alighted from the motorcycle, the argument did not stop. Garces even laid on the ground at one point, Baclayon said.
