Sydney commuters 'will experience delays' on the train network on Wednesday afternoon and into the evening after a man on a mobility scooter fell from a platform on to the tracks at Central Station.
A man has died in hospital after he fell from a platform on to the tracks at Sydney's Central Station.A Sydney Trains spokeswoman told SkyNews.com.au commuters"will experience delays travelling on the network" on Wednesday evening following the incident."A train was not at the platform or nearby at the time of the incident and train services were immediately stopped," the spokeswoman said. He was rushed to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he died.

The Sydney Trains spokeswoman said all lines reopened at 3:23pm with flow on delays set to affect the T1 North Shore and Western Line, T9 Northern Line, T8 Airport line, T2 Inner West & Leppington line and T3 Bankstown line. Stops and platforms may change at short notice.
