KUALA LUMPUR: A 46-year-old man was detained for allegedly making racial posts on Twitter that could threaten public order.
Bukit Aman Corporate Communications chief Asst Comm A. Skandaguru said the man was detained here on Wednesday .
"A team from Bukit Aman CID Special Investigation Unit arrested the suspect and seized a mobile phone and a laptop," he said in a statement on Thursday ."We are also investigating under Section 233 of the Communication, and Multimedia Act 1998 which is misuse of network facilities," he said.
