Investigators believe the shooter fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle, but a specific make and model were not provided.
Sgt. Henson, with the Sheriff’s Office, said police were called to the scene of A. Philip Randolph Boulevard and Pippin Street at about 6:10 p.m. They found a man who had been shot at least once.
The man was taken to a hospital for treatment, but died from his injuries, Henson said. Anyone with information that could help the Sheriff’s Office was asked to contact police at
