Police say a man was trying to run across the interstate when a Metro bus struck him.
Metro police took over an investigation early Thursday involving a bus and a fatal auto-pedestrian crash along the Gulf Freeway.A Metro bus hit and killed someone early Thursday who was walking on Interstate 45 in southeast Houston.
Officers around 12:30 a.m. responded to a report of a crash along the Gulf Freeway, near Edgebrook Drive, On Scene reported. They arrived to find a Metro bus had struck a pedestrian. Investigators say the person was trying to cross the interstate when the bus struck him, Metro Video Services reported. No one on the bus was injured.
