Police arrested a man who they say fatally shot someone in the head in Harlem last month.
Authorities say that at 10:07 p.m. on Sept. 30, the NYPD responded to a 911 call regarding a person shot in front of 112 West 144 Street. Upon their arrival, officers found 41-year-old Saladeen Cochrane with a gunshot wound to his head.
Paramedics rushed Cochrane to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem, where he ultimately died of his injuries on Oct. 3. On Oct. 17, police announced that Tomas Dunn, 22, was arrested in connection to the shooting. He was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
