EXCLUSIVE: Man City close to agreeing record deal for RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol
Manchester City are closing in on the signing of RB Leipzig centre-back Josko Gvardiol, talkSPORT understands.
The 21-year-old was a star for Croatia at the 2022 World Cup and has been linked to some of the biggest clubs in world football.Speaking of that interest from the Blues, Gvardiol said: “My agent called me and said that Chelsea is extremely interested and, of course, you definitely think about a serious offer from a huge club like Chelsea.
“I am here and I am fine with this because my idea had been to stay here. One season was not enough. This is my second season, even one more season would be great but we will see.”
