A man has been charged after his 21-year-old friend died hours after attending Sydney’s Knockout Outdoor Festival on Saturday.
The 28-year-old Melbourne man was arrested at Sydney’s Day Street Police Station on Sunday and charged with three counts of supplying a prohibited drug.

Picture: Supplied He was taken to Mascot Police Station and charged with supplying a self-administered prohibited drug causing death, and dealing with property proceeds of crime of less than $100,000.
A second man, Jason Lee, also died after attending the same festival. The 26-year-old collapsed and was taken to Concord Hospital about 1am on Sunday where he later died.The state's Health Minister Ryan Park said the practice should not be viewed as a “silver bullet” for preventing drug-related deaths at music festivals.
