BREAKING: A man has been charged with the murders of four people at a house in south east London.
A 28-year-old man is due in court today charged with the murders of four people at a house in south eastJoshua Jacques, from Hither Green, will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court accused of murdering Dolet Hill, 64 and her partner Denton Burke, 58.
He is also charged with murdering Jamaican-born NHS worker Ms Hill’s daughter Tanysha Ofori-Akuffo, 45, and her her granddaughter Samantha Drummonds, 27.But the quartet of victims were stabbed at Delaford Road in Bermondsey on Monday. They were found injured at around 1.40am, after neighbours heard screaming and called the emergency services.
Armed police stormed the property and arrested a suspect before bringing the victims outside where paramedics attempted to save them.Dolet Hill and Denton Burke were among the victimsSamantha Drummonds, 27, is a year younger than the suspect Jacques was charged on Thursday morning following an investigation by homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
