A 28-year-old Union County man has been charged with attempted murder more than a week after authorities say he shot another man on a Linden street.
Michael Yensi, of Linden, shot a 26-year-old man in the abdomen on North Wood Avenue just before 4 p.m. on May 4, Linden police said Monday. Police arrested Yensi on Thursday. He was also charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses before being sent to the Union County jail, authorities said.Attorney information for Yensi was not immediately available.
