A man is dead, and a suspect is in custody, after a stabbing that happened overnight in Pflugerville. The Travis County Sheriff's Office says that dispatch received a 911 call just before 12:15 a.m. Sunday reporting a stabbing at a home in the 14900 block of Lipton Lane.
Responding deputies found a man in his 40s with multiple stab wounds. Despite CPR administration and other life-saving measures, the man could not be resuscitated and was pronounced dead at 12:30 a.m.Witnesses at the scene gave deputies a description of the suspect. With help from the Pflugerville Police Department, deputies were able to locate the suspect, 30-year-old Faran Abdolrahimi of Austin.Abdolrahimi was booked into the Travis County Jail and faces a murder charge.
