Deputies said Andrew George Dock involved four other people to help him kill the cats by poisoning.
Five people have been arrested and charged in connection to the discovery of 13 dead cats in Summerville in October, the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday.
Deputies said Andrew George Dock, 28, of Summerville, involved four other people to help him kill the cats by poisoning. Dock was charged with 13 counts of felony ill-treatment to animals, with torture and one count of conspiracy. Deputies responded to an address on Drop Off Drive on Oct. 6 in reference to a woman finding the dead cats. The woman reportedly arrived to feed the cat colony that was a part of the trap-neuter-vaccinate-return program and living in the area.
