OAKLAND — A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a May 20 shooting that occurred a short distance from Oakland’s City Hall, court records show.

The shooting occurred around 8:20 p.m. on May 20, on the 500 block of 14th Street, near Clay Street. Police say the Jaguar was navigating around some traffic cones down the street and sideswiped the Volvo, angering Zuniga and motivating him to chase down the Jaguar and open fire.They had a ‘fling’ in Vegas and he promised to help her get a job at Tesla.

The primary evidence against Zuniga is video surveillance showing the shooter wearing a specific outfit that was later found in Zuniga’s possession, according to police.
