Deputies in Fort Bend County have arrested a Houston man in connection with a 2019 fatal...
Jadon Ezra Carpy, 21, has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Brenton Estorffe, 29, during a home invasion in 2019, according to Fort Bend County court records. Carpy’s bond has been set at $350,000.Officials with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office have not yet explained how they connected Carpy to the fatal shooting. And court filings provide little additional information.
Investigators with the sheriff’s office say just after midnight Oct. 16, 2019, two men broke into Estorffe’s home in the 6900 block of Glen Rosa Drive in Katy. He lived there with his wife and two small children. Estorfee was fatally shot in front of his family while confronting the two home invaders, according to the sheriff’s office. Estorffe was an Australian national. His wife and children were unharmed.
