During the investigation of the break-ins in Brunswick, officers responded to a man threatening a vehicle owner across the street.GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — Two Georgia men were arrested Saturday morning on differing vehicle theft charges, including a man accused of 25 attempts to enter vehicles and a man who threatened a vehicle owner with a knife, police said.
According to the Glynn County Police Department, officers responded to 2128 Perry Lane Road when a person flagged down an officer about a man entering vehicles. Officers found a man, 37-year-old Nathan Gress, and took him into custody. Police said Gress confessed to having entered 25 vehicles and was subsequently charged with 25 counts of entering an automobile.
In the course of the Gress' arrest, another officer learned of a separate robbery attempt at the nearby Parker’s Station, 2051 Perry Lane Road, which is across the street. The suspect, 41-year-old Robert Todd Stubbs, was seen entering a vehicle and threatening the vehicle’s owner with a knife, then fleeing the scene without taking the vehicle, surveillance video recorded.
